By: Time to Revive South Bend will be the fourth region (of 7 total) that the Time to Revive team partners with in their reviveINDIANA movement, following Elkhart, Kokomo, & Bloomington. Prior to that, this organization has answered invitations and entered 10 other regions to join with the local church and see revival come to the hearts of the believers and their communities. “When the Church starts living and declaring the pure message of the Gospel in unity, a city, and even a nation, can be revived for His glory [John 17:23],” says founder Kyle Lance Martin. The Dallas-based organization called Time to Revive (TTR) is Gospel-obsessed, Spirit-led, city-focused, church-driven, and disciple-oriented in their desire to see Jesus Christ transform hearts and cities across the United States of America. Time to Revive’s mission is to equip the saints for Jesus’ return by uniting and praying alongside believers for personal and corporate revival while training them to boldly declare the Gospel of Jesus and make disciples. ReviveINDIANA is a gathering of local churches and believers who desire to see their lives, congregations, and communities revived by embracing Jesus Christ, becoming equipped to share the Gospel, and making disciples. It began in January of 2015 as Time to Revive traveled to Elkhart county in response to the invitation of an Amish man in Millersburg, IN. The initial “Prayer Week” of reviveINDIANA, was scheduled to begin January 12, 2015 as 7-days of prayer and outreach in the Northern region of the state (Elkhart and LaGrange counties). As many from out-of-state came to participate, the local involvement exploded. The numbers grew from 450 to 3,000 in just one week. On day 6, the TTR team recognized that revival was unfolding before their eyes and God was about to change their plans. Following the prompting of the Holy Spirit and gleaning insight from the story of Nehemiah, who oversaw the 52-day rebuilding of the Jerusalem walls, reviveINDIANA extended their initial 7-day prayer week to 52 days. By the end of these 52 days, numbers grew from 3,000 to nearly 10,000 in participation. Other cities, churches, and leaders in Indiana and across the globe began asking, “What is going on?” and wondering how Time to Revive could help facilitate revival in their communities. What was supposed to end on January 18th, has been growing and spreading to other regions and cities in Indiana ever since. Just as the state flag of Indiana depicts 7 rays emanating from a lit torch, reviveINDIANA will continue traveling throughout the state, encouraging and equipping a total of 7 cities and regions that are hungry for revival. Following their time in Elkhart and LaGrange counties, the TTR team has seen revival spread as they have engaged with the local church in Kokomo and Bloomington as well. South Bend will be the next “ray of revival,” scheduled for the week of May 24-30, following the launch on Sunday, May 10. Time to Revive will broadcast its service at 7:00pm on Sunday, May 10th as well as nightly services May 24-30 via radio on 104.7FM, WFRN. The services will also be broadcast live over the internet at www.reviveindiana.org. End
