Frantz EyeCare Endorses Alcon’s Cataract Consumer Campaign

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Aug. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Alcon has partnered with AARP to educate consumers nationwide about cataracts and cataract surgery.  The objective of this consumer engagement campaign is to educate cataract patients about the opportunity to reduce dependence on glasses and advanced technology options so they can have informed discussions with their surgeon.

Alcon partnered with AARP to survey 1,000 adults, aged 50+, in order to:

• Explore attitudes around vision health, and

• Measure awareness and understanding of cataracts and lens treatment options.

Highlights from the study are published in the August/September issue of AARP Magazine and online at AARP.org.
