Capitol Financial Solutions Supports Rex Hospital Foundation by Participating in Sprint Triathlon

RALEIGH, N.C. - Aug. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Capitol Financial Solutions (http://www.capfs.com/) proudly participated in the 2013 Rex Wellness Sprint Triathlon-Wakefield (http://fsseries.com/index.php?action=event&event_id=251) held on Sunday, August 18.  The race consisted of a 250 yard swim, 10 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run that took place in the Rex Wellness Center of Wakefield (http://www.rexhealth.com/wakefield-wellness)’s lap pool and surrounding neighborhoods with the race transition area next to the facility.  Participants had the option to race as individuals or on relay teams, made up of three people.

 

Capitol Financial Solutions had three relay teams participate in the Rex Wellness Sprint Triathlon.  Firm associates Ashley Turner, Erika Martin, and Matt Johnson completed the 250 yard swim and associates Kelsey Barrasso, Ben Hedgepeth, and Nolan Sweeney competed in the bike ride.  Allison Sharpe, Dawn Cocker, and Andrew Lynch finished the relay for their teams with the 3.1 mile run.

Capitol Financial has sponsored the Rex Hospital Open (http://www.rexhealth.com/rexopen) held at TPC Wakefield Plantation (http://www.tpcwakefieldplantation.com/) for three consecutive years but this is the first year that the firm has participated in the triathlon.  A portion of each registration fee for the event was donated to the Rex Hospital Foundation (http://www.rexhealth.com/foundation).
