Brad Purifoy Joins BKD Corporate Finance

DALLAS - July 29, 2013 - PRLog -- DALLAS, TEXAS – Tony Giordano, president of BKD Corporate Finance, LLC, is pleased to announce that Brad Purifoy has joined BKD Corporate Finance as a senior vice president in the Dallas office.  Purifoy is an accomplished investment banking professional with more than 25 years of executive experience.  Brad will lead BKD Corporate Finance’s investment banking practice, including advisory services related to debt and equity financing, recapitalizations, merger and acquisition transactions and company divestitures for clients in Texas and surrounding Gulf Coast markets.  BKD currently has Texas offices in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Waco.

Prior to joining BKD, Purifoy served as managing director and partner for Westlake Securities, managing director for Corporate Finance Associates and senior vice president for Allegiance Capital Corporation.  

Purifoy was honored as the sole 2013 finalist for the Dallas Business Journal Merger and Acquisition Awards Investment Banker/Intermediary of the Year and is a longtime board member of the Dallas /Fort Worth chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, where he served as president from 2011 to 2012.

He is a licensed CPA in Texas and a graduate of Texas A&M University, College Station, with B.B.A. and M.S. degrees in accounting.  Purifoy holds FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses.
