Scott Camden Joins Modus Operandi as Director of C4ISR Programs and Technologies

Camden will be managing technology transition and sales focused on Department of Defense and Intelligence Community mission requirements.

July 23, 2013 - PRLog -- MELBOURNE, FL – Modus Operandi, a leading software and information integration technology company, has named Scott Camden to the new position of Director of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Programs and Technologies.  His primary role will be managing technology transition and sales focused on Department of Defense and Intelligence Community mission requirements. As a member of the leadership team he will be a key contributor and driver of the overall company strategic growth and market research.

Lt.Col. Camden, USMC (retired) brings broad experience in Intelligence Operations and Program Management, having served as a Marine Officer for more than 22 years. Most recently, he served as Product Manager, Distributed Common Ground System Marine Corps (DCGS-MC), PM Marine Intelligence, Marine Corps Systems Command.  His duties included Geospatial, All Source, and Signals Intelligence Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination capabilities supporting the Marine Corps ISR Enterprise (MCISR-E), responsibility for six Acquisition Category (ACAT) III, IV, and Abbreviated Acquisition programs, as well as coordination across four Integrated Product Teams consisting of 22 military and civilian personnel.  Prior to that, he was accountable for a diverse set of C4ISR technologies that included satellite communications, Biometrics, unattended ground sensors, Signals Intelligence and Electronic Warfare.

During his Marine Corps career Camden served in a wide array of command and staff billets in the Infantry, Intelligence, and Acquisition fields and led Marines during expeditionary operations in Somalia and Iraq.  He is a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service along with numerous other individual and unit awards.

Camden is a native of Brevard County and 1984 graduate of Rockledge High School.  He holds a master's degree in international affairs and a bachelor's in political science from Florida State University.
