There will be pirates, mermaids, wenches, tiki carvers, bands, Polynesian food, performers and artisans. 50 of the south’
s sexiest women will be competing for cash and prizes in the pin-up swimsuit contest presented by Bikini Tiki Luau. Die hard tikiphiles can learn the art of crafting the perfect classic cocktail with Paul Senft of Rum Journey and master tiki mixologist George Jenkins at the “Taste of the Islands”
rum tour.
For you treasure seekers, there will be lots of booty to plunder at the private kick-off party located inside the Holiday Inn (Northlake) Friday night, Aug 2nd hosted by Brian Whitcomb of Garage 71, Jason “Java” Croft, editor of Bachelor Pad Magazine and the Queen of the ATL Rockabilly Scene, Mon Cherie.

The “Luau” is the largest Polynesian Fusion cultural event in Georgia.This spicy fun under the sun mixes Polynesian “tiki” culture with 1940′s, 50′s and 60′s Americana. The best part about the Luau is 100% of the ticket sales go to local animal rescues. This year’s beneficiary is Friends to the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue.
