PRLog -- The African Awards is an annual event sponsored by The Hope of Africa, Inc., a non-profit organization which focuses on improving our community through education and empowerment. The purpose of the African Awards Show is to showcase and recognize the enormous talents of people of the African descent who have made positive and selfless contributions to the betterment of Africans in homeland as well as in the Diaspora. The African Awards also want to recognize the talents and achievements of the young emerging generation of people of the African descent.
Last year The African Awards were honored to be sponsored by Southwest Airlines, Amarula Beverage, Integral Company, Gregory University Uturu (Nigeria) and the African Channel.
This year Atlantan young executive and leader Rashid Brown is nominated for Educator Of The Year for his work for helping others reach their full human potential nationwide and overseas. I am overwhelmed with being nominated for such a grand award and my goal truly has been to help others be their best and walk in power, passion and purpose. It would be a joy to have my family, friends and colleagues vote, says Rashid Brown. Click on the link to vote:
