Follow on Google News | ![]() [UPDATE] Favebucket releases new version!Favebucket is the assistant that helps you save, recollect and share your favorites online
By: Favebucket LTD Via Favebucket you can save anything you like from the web quickly. That’s not all; Favebucket will automatically suggest the right keywords or ‘tags’ to go with it. And as you save more, the more accurate the assistance will be. Favebucket learns from what you save. Favebucket is more Not only can you quickly and easily save what you want to remember, you can find it again, just as quickly. Tags (keywords) and Buckets (buckets) ensure, together with the search function, that you find your favorites fast. All these features assist the user in an optimal way. The new release! As we promised a new release! It went much smoother than we expected and personally we are happy with the new things we put in. There will always be room for more improvements but that is for the releases to come. Right now we released a lot of changes amongst which: Edit Buckets: you can now rename and delete buckets [with or without the faves] Importing: you can import browser bookmarks, you can import from Delicious, Pocket and Google Bookmarks Browser Extensions: we have created browser extensions that not only make it easy to click and Fave, there is also a right click option now that lets you “Quick Fave” a site. Installing the extension can be done on the “install” page under settings (top right red triangle) Quick Fave: next to the Quick Fave option when right clicking, there is also an extra bookmarklet that has the same functionality, it’s on the “install” page under settings (top right red triangle) Contacts – Part 1: we added a feature that stores and shows your contacts that you privatelyshared a Fave with. Next time you want to share privately through Favebucket you only have to click their name and voila! It is called part 1 here because this is just a first step towards great contact management features in Favebucket. Fave a Link: in the top left corner you will find the Fave a Link feature where you can enter a link and Fave it by hitting save. If you like you can already choose a Bucket there too. This makes Faving on mobile easier as well Capacity Increase: with all this growth we needed to increase capacity for capturing and search speed. And while we were working on that we thought, why not make the whole thing faster and more stable too. So we did. And it is way faster than it ever was! To Tag: we created a “to tag” page, accessible on left side in your Faveboard. That is where you can find all the Faves that are untagged (received, from quick fave,…) and need your attention. Its like a first step towards a workbench for you Faves. New Details: the details page you can access from the front on every card has been redesigned a bit. We split up “Private Sharing” from “Social Sharing” and did some tweaking here and there. Looks way better now The near future: The next week we will release some minor tweaks and do more bug fixing. In the mean time we have been working on a major release and we really would love to tell but that would spoil the fun. The specific release will be there in 2-3 weeks and we will make a lot of noise around it. You will probably notice Mobile: is on our schedule too. We know it has been much requested but we need to be patient because like all our other works, we do our very best to bring you nothing but the best, even if we are still a small team. But you can expect that to come too! And it will not just be a mobile version of the assistant, we will do loads more… Again: can’t disclose right now. Assistance: If you need help, or you see stuff in Favebucket that doesn’t make sense. Don’t hesitate. You can reach us via the feedback function in Favebucket.com or via this email address: youinspireme@ Happy Faving! End
