ABS-CBN’s biggest drama offering for 2013 opens on TFC worldwide next week

QUEZON CITY, Philippines - July 5, 2013 - PRLog -- As part of its celebration of 60 years of television in the Philippines, ABS-CBN proudly announces the worldwide premiere of its biggest drama offering for the year, "Muling Buksan Ang Puso," on The Filipino Channel (TFC) this coming week.  Topbilled by three of the Philippines’ biggest teen stars - Teleserye Sweetheart Julia Montes, Versatile Actor Enchong Dee, and Next Ultimate Leading Man Enrique Gil, Muling Buksan Ang Puso will open on Monday, July 8 (July 9, Tuesday New Zealand, Sydney, and Tokyo time), on TFC worldwide.

"Muling Buksan Ang Puso" features an ensemble of stars composed of three generations of some of the country’s most talented actors – the three big teen stars; two top caliber actresses who are both returning Kapamilyas, Agot Isidro and Cherie Gil; exceptional actors Daniel Fernando, Dominic Ochoa and Jestoni Alarcon; and highly acclaimed performers Ms. Pilar Pilapil, from the top-rater "Ina Kapatid Anak," veteran actor Dante Rivero, and the one and only Queen of Philippine Movies Ms. Susan Roces, from the phenomenal series “Walang Hanggan.”

"Muling Buksan Ang Puso" is the newest masterpiece of ABS-CBN’s TV production business unit Dreamscape, the same team who created the well-loved teleserye "Walang Hanggan" and the widely followed family drama "Ina Kapatid Anak," and top-rating programs "Juan De la Cruz," "My Little Juan, and "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala," all currently available on TFC’s internet protocol television (IPTV) and online (TFC.tv) platforms. The newest series is under the direction of two of the maestros of the new-age Pinoy soap operas Nuel Naval and Manny Palo, and written by Rondel Lindayag and Reggie Amigo.

The newest series is about three generations of families whose lives are intertwined by love and betrayal. Key characters hold the key to the sins of the past which will unlock as episodes of “Muling Buksan Ang Puso” unravel.

Aside from the narrative, the newest Kapamilya series takes pride in the touching music of the show that will truly capture the hearts of TV viewers in North America, Middle East, Europe, Australia, Japan and other parts of Asia.  The theme song “Muling Buksan Ang Puso,” will be interpreted by King of Teleserye Theme Songs Erik Santos. Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha will also record her version of the song.

Perfecting the beauty of “Muling Buksan Ang Puso” are its world-class production design, costumes, and locations. The show will not only unlock the secrets of the characters’ lives but will also reveal the hidden treasures of San Juan, Batangas, Tagaytay, Cavite; and Antipolo, Rizal, all part of the scenic region of CALABARZON, Philippines.
