IntelliTec & Jeremy’s Garage Host “Route 50 Car Expo” in Pueblo Saturday July 20th

PUEBLO, Colo. - June 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Pueblo, Colorado – IntelliTec College of Pueblo and Jeremy’s Garage are co-hosting the Route 50 Car Expo on Saturday, July 20th.  This free-admission family event will focus on all things automotive and will feature vendors, children’s activities and a ribbon cutting ceremony for IntelliTec’s newest automotive training facility. Proceeds will be donated to Pueblo’s homeless through Posada Pueblo.
IntelliTec College of Pueblo Campus Director Andreas Nilsson says, “We are very excited for the partnership with local business leaders as our goal is to create an annual event to benefit the community and show our beautiful facilities to the public.”

The event is free-admission to the public and will take place at the IntelliTec College's Automotive Facility at 713 E. Spaulding Avenue, Pueblo West, CO from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Route 50 Expo will feature a variety of vehicles including race cars, late models, oldies, antiques, low riders, off-road vehicles, motorcycles and more. Attendees can purchase food and refreshments, and there will be a bounce house, face painting, caricatures, balloon tying, pony rides, a parts swap meet, a car wash and a kids’ corner. The College’s massage therapy students will also provide complimentary chair massages.

Individuals interested in displaying vehicles can request registration forms or sponsorship information by contacting Jeremy’s Garage at (719) 547-2450.  Jeremy’s Garage is an automotive repair facility that has been serving the Pueblo area for more than 3 years. Jeremy's Garage has organized a car show in Pueblo West for the last 4 years and this year just happened to need a new space for their show. IntelliTec was able to offer a large parking lot right off Hwy 50 in exchange for partnership in the event.

The benefactor of the event, Posada Pueblo, has a mission “to provide housing and supportive services that empower homeless individuals and families in Pueblo County to become self-supporting members of the community.” Representatives from Posada will be at the event to run donation drives and enjoy the show with members of their own community.
