FALDP Announces Fourth Annual Conference

VENICE, Fla. - June 10, 2013 - PRLog -- The Florida Association of Legal Document Preparers – FALDP – is proud to announce our Fourth Annual Conference. This year we are hosting our conference in the lovely old Florida town of Cedar Key. The full day conference will be in the meeting room of the historic Cedar Key Library, located at 460 Second Street, Cedar Key, 32625, on September 21. As always, it is a members only event.

Our mission is a journey. We have only begun, there is much to do. We trust that as we grow and educate our members; our members will, in turn, educate consumers. We hope that the confidence gained through education will in turn empower those consumers.  We have faith that one day, consumers will have a fighting chance to  pursue their legal rights, with or without an attorney, with the proper education and tools to know when or if legal advice is required, and to make their own informed legal decisions whenever reasonable.

The Florida Association of Legal Document Preparers proudly serves the under served.

The Conference Fee is $75.00; and Annual Membership is $65. Members are invited to bring a guest at no additional charge.

Saturday, September 21, 9-5 – Focuses on education and networking, with two dynamic guest speakers and lively guided discussion throughout the day:

Todd Winninger has been a Floridian for 14 years, previously a Texan and grew up in Ohio. A pro-se litigant for 30 years, primarily to stand up for his rights, get a refund, make a point and have the last word. His cases involve negligence, breach, TCPA, slander and libel usually in County and sometimes in Circuit Court. He takes on attorneys, works with private investigators, navigates judge’s chambers and regulatory/licensing agencies.

Paul Johnson - "Nothing Happens Until Somebody Sells Something" Paul Johnson, a graduate of George Mason University, has worked in the pet care industry for 30 years. During that time he has learned how to educate practitioners in the best ways to serve their customers, and expand their businesses. It turns out these principles apply to any business, including legal document preparation. Johnson has expanded his own business activities to include public speaking and new business development.
