Divas In Defense Joins Forces With Communities In Schools Of Georgia

Atlanta, GA June, 2013- Maybe you’ve seen them in Atlanta or Los Angeles. Maybe you’ve joined them for a workshop in Kentucky or maybe you’ve heard them on Bravo TV’s Real Housewives of Atlanta or perhaps you saw them on Tom Joyner’s 2013 Family Reunion Cruise in the Caribbean or in a class in Mexico. No matter where you turn, Divas in Defense is there!

On June 12, DID will participate in the College Success Corps Summer Bridge Program held at Clayton State University. As part of a one-week summer boot camp, current college students volunteer to mentor and assist upcoming High School seniors with graduation tips, preparing for college admissions, learning about financial aid processes and more—Divas In Defense will add a safety and defense component with a 90-minute workshop from 10am to 11:30am.
