COLUMBUS, Ohio - June 7, 2013 - PRLog -- COLUMBUS, Ohio – The BIA Parade of Homes today announced that Truberry Custom Homes LLC will once again build the BIA Foundation House.  Truberry has built the BIA Parade of Homes Foundation House five times, has been in the Parade nine times, and has been crafting custom homes for a quarter of a century.  The Foundation House not only gives Parade goers ideas for their own homes, but it also gives back to the community.  Proceeds from its sale benefit Nationwide Children's Hospital, as well as other charities through the BIA Foundation.  Suppliers, trades and other industry pros help lower the cost of building the home by donating or discounting services, tools and materials.  That ensures that more money from the sale of this five-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath home goes directly to local charities, while the buyer benefits from the exquisite craftsmanship and lots of custom touches.

The moment guests enter this 4,200-square-foot home, they will see striking custom woodwork detailing, a magnificent foyer art gallery and an attached artist’s studio and office. Dramatic tuxedo touches are seen throughout the home, with charcoal-stained wood that pops against lighter paint and trim. Thick, bowed crown moulding and 1940s-style built-ins capped by Bianco Romano granite add character and patina to this brand new home. Upstairs, a spa-like owners’ suite features a mammoth eight-foot-wide steam room and shower with tiered seating and twin versions of four distinct shower heads.  Outdoors, an open-air, covered porch sits just off the kitchen. Its wide stone fireplace, full bar and huge flat screen TV create the perfect spot to relax and be enveloped in nature, while a wall of stone and glass create a seamless view of the outdoors.

“The Foundation House is indicative of every home we design and build. Each is a unique, one-of-a-kind, custom tailored to the owners,” said Truberry President Lori Steiner.  “And Truberry homes are built by the finest artisans around.  That kind of craftsmanship and caring really shows, not just on the first walk through, but for generations after the first homeowners move in.”
