Verde Media Group, Inc. Announces Successful Documentary Shoot with Northeastern University Rugby

LOS ANGELES - June 6, 2013 - PRLog -- LOS ANGELES, CA – 06/06/13 -- Verde Media Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: VMGI) has announced the successful completion of its weekend film shoot at the Collegiate Rugby Championships in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The Verde Media Production Team filmed the NU Huskies’ rough and tumble progression through the CRC USA 7’s tournament, culminating in the team’s winning the Bowl Division championships on Sunday.

The team fought tough matches against Penn State, losing by the narrowest margin of all pool play (7points), and equally battled Notre Dame in another close match. NU proved to dominate over NC State twice, and beat VA Tech in a great championship final. As young as the NU 7's program truly is, NU clearly brought incredible talent and poise in the face of such a huge venue, filled with rugby fans and never before experienced media attention and pressure.

Congratulations are duly in order to coaches Jamie Green, Adam Zilcoski, and Greg Bruce, as well the team captain Ty Tailor, the entire NU 7's squad, and the student leadership of NURFC. Pulling off this invitation to the CRC in just 2.5 months, and representing NU at the games as well as they did was not an easy task for anyone involved.

Verde Media will deliver the promotional spots of the weekend to Northeastern University next week, teasing the delivery of a full-length historical documentary on the rise of the club.  The team’s success made for a dramatic and emotional finish to its most successful year in the history of the club – contributing as well to a successful story arc for the documentary.
