Free Community Health Fair This Sunday

SAN DIEGO - June 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Free Community Health Fair
Featuring Ask-a-Doctor, cholesterol screenings, blood pressure screenings, and more


Who:          FREE and open to the public

What:        The Rock’s first annual fair will bring together representatives from over 30 medical organizations, including Sharp Health Care, to provide free health screenings that includes cholesterol, blood sugar, body mass index, blood pressure and tobacco use. The screening takes only 15 minutes to complete with results provided immediately by a health coach. Attendees could also receive medical information from knowledgeable resources and an Ask-a-Doctor booth for a one-on-one meeting with a physician.


When:       June 9, 2013
                        8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

About:      The Rock is San Diego’s largest church with over 12,500 people   attending the Rock’s five Sunday services. It was started in 2000, by Pastor Miles McPherson, a former NFL player.
