Roxtec continues to expand its product offerings to provide the wireless telecom industry with new and better solutions. Roxtec’s BG™, New Conduit Seal™ and other relevant telecom product lines will be on display at CTIA 2013, Booth # 2547.

Roxtec’s BG™ (Bonding & Grounding) seals provide protection of equipment from lightning, water, fire, dust and rodents. When used for telecom, BG™ has proven to provide a better bond and ground on shelters and OSP, along with eliminating the need for copper bus bars and coax ground cables.

In addition, Roxtec’s BG™ sealing system is available as a retrofit solution for shelters, etc. where there is a high incidence of copper bus-bar thefts.

Roxtec CES Conduit Seal™

Roxtec’s CES Conduit Seal™ was developed for use with conduits (i.e. liquidtite, innerduct, etc.), hybrid cables and coax applications found in the telecom industry. It is lightweight, easy to install and allows the use of pre-terminated cables. The retrofit feature allows adding the seal to existing sites without having to disconnect cables.

The new seal eliminates the problem of water and rodents entering the conduits causing damage to the system, fiber, coax and power cables, especially during freezing temperatures. In addition, the new

CES Conduit Seal™ will eliminate the need for silicones, butyl, and other sealing masses that will eventually fail in a short time.

The CES Conduit Seal™ is supplied as a kit, including two stainless steel clamps and Roxtec sealing modules that are adaptable to cables of different sizes. This kit simplifies everything from design and planning through to purchasing, installation and logistics. Plus, by using Roxtec’s Multidiameter™ Technology--- modules are easily adjusted to fit a variety of cable and pipe diameters.
