The PMDis an advanced method of accurately measuring High Wide Loads within 3/8th of an inch and meets the Association of American Railroads (AAR) Open Top Loading Rules. The current (old) method is time consuming, requires multiple personnel and comes with hazard risks such as injuries. Measurements are accomplished with near pinpoint accuracy without the use of ladders, strings, plumb lines and levels. The PMD is now approved on the Leica TS02 which provides users of the device an easier means of seeing their targets utilizing a built in laser. The red laser offers a quicker process over the manual method. Users simply point the red laser beam on the target point then press, “Get Measurement” The updated User Interface supports Microsoft OS.
