AetherQuest Solutions to Produce the Department of Energy Annual Secretarial Small Business Awards

FALLS CHURCH, Va. - May 20, 2013 - PRLog -- AetherQuest Solutions, Inc. (AQS) is proud to announce that the firm is currently in production of the 2013 Annual Secretarial Small Business Awards Ceremony sponsored by the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization. The award ceremony will honor individuals and organizations that made significant contributions in promoting and expanding the agency’s small business initiatives in fiscal year 2012.  More importantly, the awards will also recognize the outstanding performance of small businesses that have had major impact on the mission of DOE, their national laboratories and facilities.

In addition to the award ceremony planning and on-site execution, AQS developed DOE’s online awards portal to facilitate the awards nomination process, which allows for collection of nominator and nominee information as well as the nomination essay. The same system also includes a grading system for agency’s personnel to evaluate the received nominations.  AQS has previously overseen the award process and ceremony in 2012. The event management firm has successfully produced a number of award ceremonies including the NASA Small Business Symposium and Award Ceremony in 2010 and 2011, and SBA Washington Metropolitan Area Small Business Awards Ceremony in 2011, 2012 and currently in production for 2013.
