May 14, 2014 - PRLog -- The National Veteran Small Business Coalition announced today the agenda for the 2014 Veteran Entrepreneur Training Symposium (VETS2014) in Reno, Nevada, June 16 -19.  For the fourth consecutive year, the VETS brings together Government agencies, industry leaders, and Veteran entrepreneurs for hands-on educational sessions, one-on-one business meetings and connecting with over 40 exhibitors seeking to team with Veteran businesses.

Aimed at assisting Veteran small business owners succeed in a high competitive federal marketplace, VETS2014 provides updates on Veteran business programs, best practices, and relevant news within the federal government. This year’s topics includes Branding & Marketing for Business Success, 7 Step to Successful Proposals, ABCs of Government Proposal Evaluation and many more educational sessions for emerging and mature Veteran owned small businesses.

This four-day event will feature exciting keynote speakers retired Air Force General Michael Hayden the former Director for the Central Intelligence Agency and National Security Agency, Vietnam Veteran and 4 time Super Bowl Champion Rocky Bleier of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Chief Richard Picciotto, the highest ranking member of the New York Fire Department to survive the 9/11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.  This year’s symposium will conclude with an Office of Small Disadvantage Business Utilization Town Hall Meeting with eleven Directors and Small Business representatives to answer questions about procurement opportunities within their agencies.
