WIS International continues to keep a breast with counterfeiting methods.

This week saw agents from WIS International www.wis-int.com in Krakow Poland. They were there for the annual training with one of their brand protection clients.

WIS International handle a number of marks in their anti counterfeiting campaigns in Portugal and Spain.

WIS International with offices in Portugal and the UK have been established for over 30 years, they specialise in business intelligence and brand protection, the company are made up of ex law enforcement officers from the UK and Portugal.

The training in Poland is an annual event giving our agents up to date information about the product and current counterfeiting trends. As counterfeiters continually change there methods it is important that all agents are regularly bought up to date.

WIS International’s MD Roy Whitehouse who is also the past president of the Council of International Investigators (CII) says, “As we handle a number of marks and counterfeiting is on the increase into all types of products, these training sessions are of the utmost importance to us all, it brings us up to date on a regular basis of changing methods”

Counterfeiters are becoming more sophisticated in the way they produce copies, and facilitate their distribution and logistics. Marks and law enforcement around the world are in a constant battle against counterfeiters so it s important that investigators try to stay one step ahead of them or at least keep a level playing field.
