Ben walked through the scenarios involved in employee online time off request creation, employee performance review process and the automated approval workflow during the product demo. He also covered how managers are able to initiate personnel transactions online and have access to information for workforce planning and decision support, and demonstrated how the request approval processing is real-time, automated, efficient and accurate.

In addition, Ben provided attendees with a demonstration of some other opportunities for automation / optimization: Employee new position and recruitment, employee new hire process, employee working timesheet, and employee off-boarding.

Another area of interest was the employee self service (ESS) and manager self service (MSS).  ESS gives employees the ready access to information about their jobs and employment, the ability to check status of their requests, and make changes to their personal data online. MSS provides managers a workplace to manage their day-to-day approval tasks, and access information for decision support.
