Four earn 2013 distinction; one listed as “Rising Star”

[CHARLESTON, SC - 05/06/13] - Young Clement Rivers LLP announces that attorneys Carol B. Ervin, Wallace “Buster” Holland, Shawn Daughtridge Wallace and D. Jay Davis, Jr. have each been named as South Carolina Super Lawyers, earning recognition as top attorneys in the state for 2013.

No more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by Super Lawyers.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.

Just last month, Super Lawyers announced that their comprehensive selection process has been patented (U.S. Pat. No. 8,412,564).

Also recognized from the firm was attorney Brian Quisenberry who was named a “Rising Star” for 2013, a list of the top, up-and-coming attorneys in the state. To be eligible for inclusion, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive this honor.
