Bioversity Selects enviroBYTES to Measure and Manage GHG Emissions from Global Operations

GATINEAU, Quebec - April 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Bioversity International, a leading a research-for-development organization working for the sustainable development and conservation of agricultural and forest biodiversity worldwide, recently selected CarbonSolve™ from enviroBYTES to track and manage carbon emissions from across 13 globally distributed sites.

Bioversity International is a member of the CGIAR (Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research) Consortium, a global partnership that unites organizations engaged in research for a food-secure future. Bioversity International is a key partner in ten of the 16 CGIAR Research Programs. As part of the consortium’s sustainability initiative, Bioversity International has been tracking the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from its operations across the globe for over four years now. Before CarbonSolve™ was deployed, this process was largely labour-intensive and included emails, spreadsheets and manual calculations, which was both time-consuming and burdensome.
