AUSTIN, Texas - April 10, 2013 - PRLog -- In conjunction with the annual Democracy in the Workplace Day, Worldblu named Greenleaf Book Group among 51 organizations that have been certified as part of the seventh annual WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces. The list features for-profit and non-profit organizations based around the globe and recognizes such companies as Zappos.com and WD-40. This is the third consecutive year that Greenleaf Book Group has been recognized by WorldBlu.

WorldBlu was founded in 1997 with the goal of seeing one billion people employed in workplaces that encourage freedom-centered leadership and democratic design. The organization has a high standard for certification and uses employee surveys to evaluate ten principles, which include transparency, accountability, choice, integrity and decentralization. “Our people are our number one asset, and we’re honored to be recognized as a company that embodies Worldblu’s vision,” says Clint Greenleaf, Greenleaf Book Group’s founder and CEO.

An organization makes it onto the WorldBlu List through a survey process their employees complete, which evaluates the overall design of an organization along a fear-based to freedom-centered continuum based on the WorldBlu 10 Principles of Organizational Democracy (http://worldblu.com/democratic-design). Organizations scoring 3.5 or higher on a 5.0 scale become WorldBlu certified democratic workplaces.
