InspectMyRide® Introduces Basic Verification Service to Target Older Vehicles

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - April 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Consumers looking to purchase their next vehicle online now have a new Basic Verification service to help them make a more informed decision. The new service is offered by InspectMyRide®, a division of DataScan Field Services, one of the largest consumer automotive inspection companies in North America. InspectMyRide designed the new service to benefit a key niche in the online car buying market. While Basic Verification is available for all vehicle models and years, it is especially tailored to meet the needs of classic and antique car shoppers.

Most standard pre-purchase inspection services are limited to vehicles made over the past 25 years. The new service expands this valuable checkpoint for older cars, helping to prevent fraud for a greater number of consumers including those shopping for classic cars and antiques.

InspectMyRide has become known for its signature Premium Vehicle Inspection. At $179, this service includes a 150+ inspection point check, a test drive, a complete AutoCheck® Vehicle History Report and a deluxe photo package including more than 20 photos. InspectMyRide, an independent third-party company with more than 600 inspectors nationwide, is featured on top car-buying sites such as eBay Motors, AutoTrader and Cars.com.  

The new Basic Verification service – offered for $129 – is a quicker, more streamlined review of vehicles by a professional automotive inspector. It includes a photo package which captures images of the odometer, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), the car’s exterior and interior, as well as any observed damage. Inspectors will start the ignition and engage the transmission. InspectMyRide will also verify the VIN.
