The Promise Celebrates 25 Years of Inspiring Performances - Holding Open Auditions

GLEN ROSE, Texas - March 27, 2013 - PRLog -- The 25th season of The Promise opens at the Texas Amphitheatre in 2013, and we are seeking talented singers/actors in the DFW area for major singing and acting roles. All principal and supporting roles are paid positions.  Consider being part of one of the most powerful stage experiences ever produced.

All interested singers/actors are encouraged to contact the Promise office Monday - Friday between the hours of 9am and 4pm at 817-599-3022 or 254-897-3926 (or register online ) to schedule an audition time.  We start looking for new talent early in the year, since audition times fill up quickly. Auditions* for talented performers will be held from 10:00am-4:00pm at the following locations:

May 18 - First Baptist Church (Hurst)

*Please bring a prepared song (acapella or CD) to the audition. All principal roles require singing and acting skills. Auditionees who do not wish to be considered for a singing role must still prepare a brief song.

Cast and crew members are paid a stipend.

- Call 817-599-3022 or 254-897-3926 to schedule a time.
- One musical track on CD (no musical accompaniment will be supplied). Those who do not have access to music may sing acapella. No cassette tapes please
- Reading selections from the script will be provided at the audition (cold readings). No prepared monologues please.
