Mike Riedlinger Joins MedTech Board of Directors

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Mike Riedlinger recently joined the Board of Directors of MedTech, the hub of Upstate New York’s bioscience and medical technology industry.  Riedlinger currently works for High Tech Rochester, where he serves as both the Program Manager for Technology Commercialization and Manager of the Rochester Bioventure Center.

“Mike brings a great background of experience to our Board of Directors and to our leadership,” said Jessica Crawford, president of MedTech.  “His perspective on building collaborative and beneficial initiatives within the medical device industry will be an important asset for our member organizations going forward.”

A seasoned start-up entrepreneur, Riedlinger has founded several businesses, including Diffinity Genomics where he also currently serves as a board member.  In his current role at High Tech Rochester, he provides support and development services to entrepreneurs within the life science and medical device industries.  Riedlinger also assists in the technology commercialization process for university researchers throughout the Upstate New York region.  Riedlinger specializes in developing innovative strategies for entrepreneurial training and commercializing new technologies.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in fine art from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Rochester.
