By: EUM Consultants According to warnings from the government’s chief scientist, there is already enough C02 in the atmosphere to cause significant floods and droughts for the next 25 years. EUM Consultants, discuss the options they can provide that are already helping lower C02 emissions. The results have been released around the same time that sceptics are debating whether C02 being released into the earth’s atmosphere is genuinely affecting the global temperature. However, the earth’s climate reacts slowly to changes, and so delays in the C02 rises are the reason for the changing weather patterns we are seeing. These are set to continue, with more droughts, more floods, and more sea surges and without a doubt, more storms. According to the government’s chief scientist, ‘Whatever is up there now will determine the next twenty years’ “Just like washing the dishes, the longer we leave it to get involved and make a difference, the harder it will be to combat in the long run” says Mark McAlear, Managing Director of EUM Consultants, “at EUM Consultants, we provide homeowners access to energy saving grants available for your property, which also save you money as well as energy”. Governments have agreed to attempt to keep temperatures from rising any more than 2C, however with clear struggles over the last decade to keep C02 emissions low, this could potentially be unrealistic. “There are many cost effective solutions to lower C02 emissions available, it is just a matter of finding them. EUM Consultants provide multiple ways of reducing your C02 emissions in your home, and they do not cost you a penny as they are all government initiatives” If initiatives are available to enable homeowners to upgrade their property, reduce C02 emissions and save money, then surely homeowners should be jumping at the opportunity? “If homeowners can’t be responsible for lowering their emissions, perhaps the best idea would be to turn these initiatives into law” says Mark McAlear of EUM Consultants.
