The African American Atelier and Lady Bizness, Inc. Partner to produce Neo Natural: The Convention

GREENSBORO, N.C. - March 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The African American Atelier and Lady Bizness, Inc. partner to bring Greensboro, NC the first annual Neo Natural: The Convention.  This cultural event that focuses on natural hair, health, fashion, and independent artisan exhibitors will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 6-10 pm at the African American Atelier located in the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center, 200 N. Davie Street, Greensboro, NC 27401.  

The African American Atelier has a rich history in promoting arts and cultural activities that enhance the community.  “Partnering with Lady Bizness, Inc. to bring a dynamic show that contains a symposium style panel with the goal of educating the community on stereotypes, healthy hair care, fashion, lifestyle, and products that can benefit women is a great example of positive images that the community needs.

To stay in line with the typical artistic development of the African American Atelier we are hosting a Craft-Off at the event which will allow participants to bring their own white t-shirts and design them under a time limit.  The best shirt will in a cash prize and all shirts will be displayed during the event.  The addition of hands-on activities increases a person’s individual creativity and allows them to be a part of the process,” states  Chisa D. Additional classes and workshops will be held from 4-6 pm and some may have an additional fee, but participants can take these classes as electives prior to the start of the actual Neo Natural: The Convention.
