CoWork Wednesday at Costco with Lady Bizness

GREENSBORO, N.C. - March 29, 2015 - PRLog -- Greensboro Costco is making efforts to support small business in the Triad area through their new program with Lady Bizness, Inc., CoWork Wednesday.  This program is designed to help entrepreneurs, freelancers, and business owners connect through learning and networking.  CoWork Wednesday will be held, Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 8:30-10 am at 4201 W. Wendover Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27407 and registration is free at www.CWWCostco.Eventbrite.com.

Attendees can expect a complimentary marketing training provided by Lady Bizness, Inc CEO and GTCC Contract Facilitator, Chisa D. Pennix-Brown, MBA.  In addition, attendees can expect an overview of services available at Costco as well as complimentary food, beverages, and special door prize treats.  Pennix-Brown states, “the opportunity to work a big brand like Costco provides access to great products, services, and creates a culture of community. I am happy to partner with them in this endeavor. We anticipate a large crowd and welcome the opportunity to provide this service to those that want to connect with business professionals in the Triad.”

Costco’s first location, opened in 1976 under the Price Club name, was in a converted airplane hangar in San Diego. Originally serving only small businesses, the company found it could achieve far greater buying clout by also serving a selected audience of non-business members.  The roots of the company have always been to service small business and this event brings that concept home in the Triad.
