Teen Pop Sensation Kady Richards Volunteers at Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA)

March 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA. – Free after school programs to underserved and at risk youth  provider, Heart of Los Angeles welcomes Teen Pop Sensation Kady Richards to tutor and share with the students during her LA visit.  Kady was especially drawn to this program because of its music and arts and the difference it is making in the youths’ lives.  Kady will be joining HOLA on Thursday March 21, 2013 at the Heart of Los Angeles Campus at 2701 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA.

This opportunity is, sponsored by Heart of Los Angeles, and will benefit the children of the program who are often overlooked and underserved and placed at risk for any number of issues.  

HOLA’s youth attend overburdened inner city schools, live in communities that are heavily impacted by illegal drug trafficking and gang violence and many children are hindered by poverty and immigration status. HOLA believes that every child deserves a chance.  HOLA provides underserved youth with exceptional programs in academics, arts and athletics within a nurturing environment, empowering them to develop their potential, pursue their education and strengthen their communities.

One of LA’s best kept secrets started in a church gym and more than 20 years later has grown into a vibrant community oasis for thousands of inner-city youth. HOLA is a thriving center that serves the Rampart community with programs in academics, the arts and athletics. The organization is unique in the quality of instruction and individual attention it provides to youth ages 6 to 19.  HOLA’s campus located in and around Lafayette Park, is a home away from home for thousands of kids.
