Their hope is that the information they share will assist the group in preserving the natural landscaping and watershed value of the lake area even during drought months when water restrictions are in place. "By planting native mid-western plants and supporting them with rainwater collected by rain barrels we hope to take steps that will help maintain healthy lakes for generations to come."
