Location aware, mobile social networking app LET’S is now Available on App Store & Google Play

Feb. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Ashburn, VA USA – February 17th, 2013 – Blue Bay Inc. announces that it has launched a mobile focused social media application named, LET’S.  The targeted LET’S users are ‘actively social’, who is more interested in doing something and less in peeking through someone else’s life. Using LET’S, its users can communicate with their friends using text messages, audio, video and images. LET’S also allows its user to discover what’s happening around them. The app utilizes its user’s location and provides a distance to other users and shows what these other users want to do. This application does not reveal its user’s location on a map unless other user’s request is first accepted. A LET’S user can stop sharing his/her location with a particular user at anytime.

LET’S is based on an active participation between users. LET’S allows its users to expand his/her social sphere by utilizing their location, a dimension currently ignored by many other social media. LET’S collects a very limited amount of information from a user to create an environment where user privacy is respected and protected. By default, the location information from a user’s phone is used only when the app is active. Also, only the last location of a user is stored and utilized.

Using LET’S is like having everyone on your IM just because they are sharing same space. Several uses of the app are envisioned such as in office setting - to casually communicate with coworkers, in neighborhood – to connect nearby families, in school – to communicate and pass on the information without knowing everyone’s phone/email. Additionally, there are unlimited opportunities in day-today life like finding nearby carpool buddies, finding like-minded people in a new place, splitting cab to a destination, chatting on common topic, connecting with other on travel, etc.

Using LET’S, the company wants its users to enrich their social life with a little help from the smart phone, which is increasingly becoming an integral part of our lives.
