Feb. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- With the NBA headed into its All Star break, Bloomberg sports reporter Scott Soshnick joins Rick Horrow to discuss key midseason business topics, including the pending sale of the Sacramento Kings to Seattle investors. A deal has been presented that values the franchise at a record $525M, but Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson believes he can find local buyers to make a competitive bid. Soshnick also discusses the future of embattled NBA Players Association head Billy Hunter and other current issues.

NFL Agent Joe Linta joins Horrow to discuss contract negotiations for his  client, Super Bowl MVP  free agent quarterback Joe Flacco. Linta believes that Flacco should be the league's highest-paid quarterback. How could the NFL's free agent rules, including "franchise" tags, affect the deal?

Major League Soccer star Robbie Keane succeeds David Beckham as the most marketable European player on the 2-time defending league champion Los Angeles Galaxy. He discusses his business decision to sign a new 2-year contract to play in MLS, as well as the potential impact of "financial fair play" rules on European salaries and the flow of leading players across the pond to MLS.

This week’s show debuts Wednesday night at 9:30 PM and 12:30 AM ET Thursday on Bloomberg TV (DirecTV 353, check your local cable systems for the channel near you). The show reaches more than 270 million households through first-run and syndicated airings.
