“We’re seeing activity substantially picking up in the Greenville area. Some significant deals in the last 45 days include the Toys”R”Us and Babies”R”Us area building a new facility to merge the two stores in Magnolia Park while both the former Rooms To Go on Haywood Road and the GattiTown on Woodruff Road are under contract,” said Lee & Associates Greenville President Randall Bentley, who represented the seller, Dune SC Sub I, LLC. The buyer, Hollingsworth Fund (Verdae Properties, LLC) was represented by Rick Summerel of Verdae.

According to Bentley, the buyer plans to incorporate the purchase into a larger planned development. “Verdae Properties currently owns adjacent properties to this one making this an ideal purchase to add to their portfolio,” he said. “There were multiple interested buyers and offers due to property’s amenities and location – settled alongside multiple car dealerships on “motor mile” and in close proximity to various retail centers just a mere 10 minutes away from Downtown Greenville.”

Located at 2519 Laurens Road, the single-unit, 133,143-square-foot property was built in 1986.
