PRLog -- PostEverything Productions is proud to present “Jared Posts a Personal,” a new comedy web series that launched in January on youtube and jaredpostsapersonal.com. The series is written and produced by Jared Warner, Tim Dean and Nick Ciavarella, all current and former alums of NYC's staple comedy troupe MURDERFIST. The three star as exaggerated versions of themselves, caught in a series of awkward, often ludicrous, scenarios, trying to find a connection in the loveless black hole that is the modern 20-something's New York City.
At home in a world where the scoundrel characters of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia would have the heartfelt adventures of New Girl, each of the six episodes in season one have their own unique style, made possible by the skilled direction of Adam Wirtz, the go-to filmmaker in the NY alt comedy scene. Yet, amidst the absurdity, the series overall maintains a familiar arc most people will empathize with, even if the self recognition leads to some squirming. From trying to keep up with a date that can severely out-drink you, to spending more time picking a movie than watching it, to a sexy 'casual encounter' that takes a horrifying turn,
Jared Posts A Personal is big, but believable; crass, but endearing. It's like
Girls, in that it is a show that is written and acted and exists.
At a time when women dominate the comedy world, this is a show that follows men, but revolves around the ladies they don't have a chance with. With its unique story,
Jared Posts A Personal features some of New York’s biggest and best comedic talent, including Ilana Glazer, Francesca Ramsey, Amber Nelson and Jackie Viscusi.
With new episodes airing every Wednesday, Season One is halfway through its release, and Season Two going into production in March.
