AQMAT Gala Technical Prize recognizes Pricer Electronic Shelf Labels from JRTech Solutions

Jan. 31, 2013 - PRLog -- On January 26th, 2013 at the Château Frontenac in Quebec City, AQMAT held its first Gala event celebrating achievements within the Hardware Retail Sector.  The hardware store Unimat Coop Lac-Mégantic won the "Prix Techno" for their successful installation of Pricer Electronic Shelf Labels with JRTech Solutions.

Unimat Coop Lac-Mégantic was the first hardware store in North America to install electronic shelf labels (ESLs). With this technology in place since 2011, the Unimat store has been able to eliminate pricing errors for their clientele as well as ensure competitive pricing.

Pricer electronic shelf labels are wireless and battery-operated displays capabable of replacing traditional paper price labels. As soon as a price change is issued from the home office, the electronic shelf labels are capable of updating prices in a matter of seconds at the shelf-edge within the store. Furthermore, the ESLs confirm back to a central system that the price information has been received and displayed.as intended.
