Jan. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Matcha Design started the new year by earning two new awards in Website design from the DesignFirms™ web awards for RebuildingTogetherTulsa.org and DanielHenderson.com. The DesignFirms™ web awards showcases some of the best work on the web from designers and developers around the world. These two awards join Matcha Design’s more than 100 design awards earned to date.

The first awardee, Rebuilding Together Tulsa (RTT), is an affiliate of the nation’s largest volunteers organization revitalizing low-income homes and communities. RTT came to Matcha Design in early 2012 for help on redesigning their site.

“The artistry behind design requires an extreme amount of focus,” said Chris Lo, President and CEO of Matcha Design. “We wanted every detail to speak to the RTT story of building up and improving the lives of others.”

The RTT design includes several great features for a nonprofit site: online giving with custom buttons; a press hub with media resources and latest awareness news; social media integration; a display of thanks on the sponsors page; engaging photos of those served by the nonprofit, and more.

“My favorite feature on the new site is our Client Spotlight page,” said Kelly Hall, Community Relations Coordinator for Rebuilding Together Tulsa. “Here, we will be able to share the stories of the deserving Tulsa homeowners who receive free home repairs through the help of all of our generous supporters.”

The second award recognized Houston-based entrepreneur, Daniel Henderson’s personal blog redesign. Matcha Design started by developing Henderson’s personal brand identity.

“Every element in the design correlates with Daniel’s transparent truth identity,” said Lo. “The water flowing across the main pages, clean navigation and bold images all reinforce Daniel’s straightforward approach on life and his new personal brand.”

In addition to the site, Matcha Design also used this fresh look across his Facebook, Twitter and E-newsletter communications.

“It was important to use the new branding across all online touch points,” said Lo. “This consistent look will allow Daniel to present a strong feel to his online visitors, and is a great springboard for his presence to grow.”
