Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage) to Play New England Area Shows in Feb.Metal band The Empire Shall Fall returns to the New England club scene this February, offering fans a rare chance to see the band and lead vocalist Jesse Leach in an intimate live setting since Leach rejoined Killswitch Engage earlier last year.
By: Swarm of Eyes The two consecutive live performances offer a rare opportunity for New England fans to see Leach in a live, club setting with The Empire Shall Fall since rejoining Killswitch Engage earlier last year. Leach serves as lead singer for both bands. The February 1 show marks the return of The Empire Shall Fall to their home state with the band bringing bring their distinct brand of progressive metal to live venues in 2013. Fresh from their nationwide tour with Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall, Acaro will also play live at both the Pawtucket and Boston shows. Known for their energetic live shows and brutal melodies, Acaro is poised to conquer territory far beyond the borders of their northeastern home base. Up-and-coming New England metal band Swarm of Eyes will also join The Empire Shall Fall and Acaro for both live events, performing live for the first time since late last year. Swarm of Eyes are currently in the process of recording their sophomore release, a follow up to 2011’s Designing the Dystopia. Showtime for the February 1, 2013 show at The Met (1005 Main Street) in Pawtucket, RI is 7:30pm. The show is open to persons 18 and over. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 from the bands’ websites or at the door for $18. Additional bands on the bill include: Hope Before The Fall, Muroc, and Mechanical Process. The Church of Boston (69 Kilmarnock St.) in Massachusetts will play host to The Empire Shall Fall and company on Saturday February 2, 2013. The 21+ event begins at 8pm and includes Give Zombies The Vote, Conforza, and The River Neva as part of the lineup. Tickets may be purchased in advance via the bands' websites for $12 or at the event for $15. End
