BOSTON - Aug. 21, 2018 - PRLog -- Hardcore punk band Death Ray Vision is set to embark on an October tour of New England in support of their upcoming album, Negative Mental Attitude. The four-date micro-tour will feature the debut of the band's new lead singer, Jeff Gard (Chuggernaut). A rotating cast of bands will join Death Ray Vision on the upcoming dates, including New England-based thrash / death metallers, Swarm of Eyes, who will be playing at the first three of the four shows, and City of Homes playing two of the dates.

Rhode Island metal legends Thy Will Be Done will help kick off the upcoming dates on October 5th, 2018 at Fete Lounge in Providence. The following week, on October 12th, Death Ray Vision will head back to their old stomping grounds at The TANK in Feeding Hills – the Western Massachusetts venue where Overcast and Killswitch Engage got their start.

Gard joins the band following the departure of Death Ray Vision's original lead singer, Brian Fair (Shadows Fall), rounding out a lineup that also includes drummer Colin Conway (Soul Remnants, ex-Cannae), guitarist Pete Cortese (Seemless, Overcast, ex-Killswitch Engage), and bassist Mike D'Antonio (Killswitch Engage / Overcast).

"We've been working hard on new material and are excited to finally bring it to the stage after grinding it out in the studio," says D'Antonio. "We're gonna be debuting some of our new material for this run, but fans of our old material will definitely not be disappointed."

The upcoming Negative Mental Attitude is the second full-length release for Death Ray Vision, the first since the release of 2013's We Ain't Leavin' Til You're Bleedin' and their 2011 EP, Get Lost or Get Dead. The band's new album is slated for release in late 2018 on Bullet Tooth Records.

"The new record is a bit of a departure with the addition of new vocalist Jeff Gard," explained D'Antonio. "But the core essence of the band is still the same, so people into our previous material will definitely dig it."

Fans can get a taste of Death Ray Vision's new material live this October in venues throughout New England:

10/5 - Fete Lounge, Providence, RI

10/6 - The Dover Brickhouse, Dover, NH

10/12 - The Tank, Feeding Hills, MA
