Jan. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Las Vegas NV  – Halberd Corporation (HALB.PK) and Sigma Operational Services announced today that they have entered  into a strategic partnership effective December 18, 2012.

Executives will meet with Halberd Corporation officials later this month to discuss the specific terms of the agreement.

Sigma Ops’ officials expect this strategic partnership to improve investor confidence and widen its customer base.  It will also serve as the launching point for a combined effort at a domestic roll-out focused on law enforcement applications.   In addition to Sigma’s infrastructure focus (A/E, Information Technology, and Telecommunications), Sigma Ops will now offer Halberd UAV platforms in base configuration with various payload options suitable for a variety of mission requirements.  Sigma will utilize its Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business and pending 8a status to leverage the UAV platforms to all Department of Defense and law enforcement agencies.

The strategic partnership will permit Halberd factories in Las Vegas to construct custom UAV configurations with Sigma’s encrypted tactical data link.  This encrypted data link will afford law enforcement officers the ability to conduct surveillance operations without threat from hackers while conforming to the 25 pounds take-off weight limit imposed by the Federal Aviation Administration.

More information is expected to be released following a shareholders meeting on February 12, 2013.
