Third Annual Broward Pulse Event Aims to Raise $125,000 for the American Heart Association

Jan. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Founded in 2011, Broward Pulse is the young professionals division of the American Heart Association of Broward County. A group of 25 young professionals volunteer their time and resources to raise funds and awareness for the epidemic of childhood obesity and support of families with congenital heart defects.

In only their third year in existence, the Broward Pulse committee has gained the support of local sponsors including their Signature Sponsor, One Beat CPR, Celebrity Sponsor, Andre Johnson & the Andre Johnson Charitable Foundation, PULSE Heart Sponsor, Silver Lining InFlight Catering, and Silver Sponsors SOI and Patriot National Insurance. Additionally, W Fort Lauderdale, Stolichnaya Vodka, and Casa Vinicola Zonin have joined to support the Pulse Campaign in 2013 as generous sponsors. The committee is co-chaired for the second year by volunteers Jamie Shock, Romina Sifuentes, and Sara Shake.

Pulse Co-Chair, Romina Sifuentes states, “We are so proud to work with the American Heart Association, and thanks to dedication of our committee members and loyal sponsors, we have been able to increase our contribution to the organization, as well as, awareness of heart health each year.”

The Red Party will take place at W Fort Lauderdale from 8pm to 11pm on Saturday, February 23rd. Tickets are $100 each, and can be purchased through www.heart.org/browardredparty.Guests will enjoy open bar, food, live auction, and entertainment.
