Columbia Maryland Dental Practice Thanks Those Who Donated to Believe in Tomorrow

Jan. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Dr. Daniel Stewart of Smile Savers Dentistry [http://www.smilesaversdentistry.com] in Columbia, MD challenged his dental patients, staff and colleagues to help the office raise $10,000 for Baltimore's Believe in Tomorrow Children's Foundation before the end of 2012.

Dr. Stewart explained his fundraising intention, "A friend of mine passed away suddenly this past September. He was an amazing person. The number of people he touched in his short life was truly amazing. He was legendary for raising money for charities and would literally give the hat off his head if someone needed it. He left this world a better place. It was while attending his funeral that I decided I would try to help fill the vacuum of his loss."

In late October of last year, Smile Savers Dentistry announced that they would match all donations up to $10,000 that were made before December 31, 2012. Donations were totalled up on January 2, 2013 and Smile Savers Dentistry matched patient and colleague donations of $4325 for a total of $8650.

Smile Savers Dentistry also supports the Carol Jean Cancer Foundation and other local Maryland charities.
