Alfi International Inc. Launches New Recycling Program

Jan. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Alfi International, Inc. is excited to announce the launch of new recycling program on its premises and would like to congratulate its personnel for the successful implementation. The new program effectively ends the need of the company to have regular garbage pickups. The company, located in Southern California, already adheres to state environmental standards which are considered the most strident in the United States. And now with this new program, the company wants to move forward toward becoming a complete zero-waste facility.

The new program has allowed Alfi International Inc to completely discontinue trash pickups with their waste removal operator. The company has actively switched almost all products and materials used in the operations and employee facilities to recyclable ones, and has switched exclusively to regular Recycling Pickups. Alfi is not yet a completely zero-waste facility since there is still a small amount of non-recyclable waste comprising of organic food waste and a few other non-recyclables. The company is working with local farmers to compost as well as diverting to other non-landfill streams.
