The quieter you become the more you can hear

This has been a very funny year. I know it’s not over yet but over the coming weeks I am going to be a little bit pre-occupied so I thought I would put a post up tonight.

Tonight is our family Christmas  My partner and I have been waiting for the last few weeks for our new baby to make an appearance..Guess when he showed up?

Labour started on Christmas Day and our baby was born on Boxing Day. I won’t forget this date of birth in a hurry that’s for sure.

I have a bad memory and can’t remember very much so for a baby to come on boxing day will help me to remember for sure.

So that now means I am responsible for 6 mouths to feed. 2 toddlers 1 new born and 3 teenage girls. At times I wonder how will I cope? I know what my plan is.

Throughout this year I have had 2 ‘normal’ day jobs. Working in excess of 40 hours a week.  Neither paid any more than $1800 a MONTH. It seems this is kinda the average income. Who do you know who earns this kinda money? Do you think this is really enough?

I have worked out that our household expenses this year alone have been around $20,000. Maybe an extra $3000 for running the car. Can you see the pattern? I am sure you can. Your clever.

I have decided that for the next 3 years I going to change a few things in my life. The first thing I am going to change is my current occupation.

I have worked in telesales for the last 5 years or so and to be honest I am kinda fed up working for other people, Working the hours THEY set. Doing what i am TOLD to do rather than doing what i NEED to do. Being told when i can go for a 30 MINUTE break. It drives me man but I guess we allow this to happen because we just accept it for what it is.

If I could suggest to you that you could have 3 holidays a year, You can have the brand new car, you can even have a brand new house without having to worry about a deposit. (That is really something don’t you think?)

Question:

Do you want to work for someone else for the rest of your life or do you feel like taking a risk?

I am going to set up a business in helping people to help themselves and others. If I can open the door for you are you brave enough to walk through?
