Energy efficiency with better lighting concepts

Dec. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- As governments and municipalities focus on driving energy efficiency measures, basic civic infrastructures such as residential complexes, shopping malls, roads, CBD's and industrial parks are also scrutinized when it comes to energy savings. Lighting contributes to a significant amount of consumption and smart lighting can go a long way to reduce load and also the emission of carbon. The GCC market, which is en-route to large scale developments in the infrastructural world, is exploring for the latest technological developments it can adopt when it comes to intelligent lighting designs.

The global lighting market, estimated to be approximately USD 145 billion is undergoing a radical change fueled by rapid urbanization and a drive to gain greater energy efficiency.
