This was another flawless install.
By: www.integrico.com IntegriCo has been working in Mexico for several years, having successfully installed recycled plastic grade crossings. The Mexican rail company expects IntegriCo’s ties will last 2-5X longer than the creosote wood ties used previously. The IntegriCo ties will save the railroad significant amounts of time and money, as well as help meet the railway’s environmental and sustainability goals. According to railroad officials, the IntegriCo ties were easily installed in a challenging area, which includes extreme weather conditions, very high loads and a relatively sharp 4 degree turn. IntegriCo Composites’ railroad ties are now installed in Class I, Short Rail and Industrial customers’ tracks in the US, Mexico, Canada and India. The Company’s flawless record on install and in-track performance over the last several years has been the major differentiator for IntegriCo. IntegriCo's VP of Operations, Ken Webber, commented, "We are delighted that one of Mexico’s largest rail companies chose to install IntegriCo's recycled plastic ties. This is further validation from our existing customer base that our recycled railroads ties are a terrific competitive offering.
