Follow on Google News | ![]() Dave Bearden Joins SCS EngineersDave Bearden has joined the Phoenix office of SCS Engineers (SCS) as a Senior Project Advisor. He will be responsible for assisting clients in the Western U.S. with their landfill gas management and other solid waste management needs.
By: SCS Engineers In his prior position, Mr. Bearden was responsible for the staffing, operations, budgeting, design and construction of landfill gas collection control systems in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Oregon and Washington for a major waste company. Before that, he was responsible for the environmental management of solid and industrial waste operations in Arizona, New Mexico and Southern California, including environmental permitting, agency relations, site compliance management system development, site level training/mentoring/ Mr. Bearden earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University in Environmental Science with a minor in Mathematics. He has been responsible for regulatory environmental and safety programs within the solid waste and hazardous waste industry holding positions as both a regional manager and a site manager. He is a Certified Hazardous Materials Management (CHMM), and an OSHA HazWoper and DOT Haz Mat Trainer.
