eAegis Launches Xtended NAS Range

These new solutions will allow QNAP NAS customers to see clearly the different levels of entry levels these units are qualified for. The leading system integrator, eAegis, is launching their four new solutions to their consumers this week so they can provide these solutions as soon as possible.

The eAegis Xtended NAS range are designed to add extra warranty and service elements as well as provide flexibility and ease of use for organizing and protecting critical data whilst keeping a keen eye on the bottom line and deliver high-end features at dramatically lower costs,” said Mohamed Mawji, the senior product development manager of eAegis, LLC.

The solutions are only provided for QNAP NAS systems are broken into four categories to fit every consumer profile: Entra, Entra Plus, Perfecta and Performa.

The QNAP Entra and QNAP Entra Plus are for the power users and for small businesses. The NAS solution families and options for the Entra (entry level with 4-6 bay solutions) are offered for the current names, TS-469PRO, TS-569PRO and TS-669PRO. Their titles will soon be changed to QNAP Entra 469PRO for example. This will help clarify which products are certified under the solution packages. QNAP Entra Plus (mid-tier with 6-10 bay solutions) will include the TS-869/879PRO, TS-879U-RP, and TS-1079PRO models.

Customers who purchase the systems under the Entra level or Entra Plus level will receive bonus support solutions that allow them to be worry free. At no extra charge, they will be guaranteed telephone support for 36 continuous months and a 48 hour swap-out plan. This swap out plan is only per annum and the customer will be responsible for shipping at all times. For customers who are persistent on having a warranty cushion for their products, a three year warranty with an extension of two years is an option that is provided only for these levels.

Mid-size businesses and Enterprise level users who purchase units with more than eight bays would benefit from the QNAP Perfecta and QNAP Performa solutions. The QNAP Perfectas include the NAS systems that have all the major qualities built in: value for money, features, quality components, and reliability and tested to work right out of the box. Examples of the QNAP Perfecta are the 10-bay towers and the 12-bay rackmounts. The QNAP Performa includes 10Gbe which makes it the perfect solution provided for the highest performing NAS system on the market.

The support resources for these two solutions includes a 24 hour swap-out plan per annum if the machine does not meet the customers’ needs within the first day. The customer will need to ship it back within the 24 hours in order to be qualified for the 24 hour swap-out and is responsible for the shipping. The solution package also includes the guaranteed telephone support which matches the lifecycle of the provided warranty. If the customer queries the complimentary warranty provided for the NAS, a five year extended warranty is optional for only the Perfecta and Performa solution NAS systems.
