Dirk Janssens Beats Out Competition at NESCAFE'S Euro Design Contest

Nov. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- 2012 has been a whirlwind year for Belgian artist Dirk Janssens. First, with his Los Angeles debut with Back in Wonderland,  he brought not only his unique talent, but managed to shake LA's gallery scene with unprecedented attendance . The gallery filled with over a hundred  celebrities, collectors and art lovers.

Later, at BAH II (Belgian Art House II) traffic surpassed last years attendance with ease and provided an opportunity for Janssens to exhibit with famed artist Raoul De Keyzer.  Art critics and guests alike praised Janssens’ new work, especially his tribute to the legendary Steve Jobs.

Next on the horizon for Janssens is his inclusion in the prestigious Winwood Gallery in Knokke-Zoute.  Janssens’ work has already been highlighted on Belgian television's Astrid in Wonderland and will adorn future Belgian television shows.  

His latest coupe of winning Nescafe’s euro design contest will garner significant and extensive  exposure for him, as his design goes into production and distribution in 19 countries at the beginning of the new year. His design has already been featured in Italian Vogue.

As we turn over yet another year, expect to see great things as Janssens returns to New York City. His residency will act as muse for upcoming exhibitions.
